Nubra Valley – Nubra, a deep gorge created by the Shyok and Siachen Rivers, is without a doubt one of the top tourist destinations in Ladakh. In addition to being the starting point for some of the highest regions, such Siachen Glacier, it is also the location of the hot springs at Panamik settlement, the old monasteries, the sand dunes of Hunder, and the settlement split along a boundary.

Pangong Tso – One of the most well-liked and fantastic locations to visit in Ladakh is Pangong Lake, which is the highest saltwater lake in the world. Several scenes from the films 3 Idiots, Jab Tak hai Jaan, and many more were filmed there as well.

Shanti Stupa – Ladakhi and Japanese Buddhists collaborated to construct the Shanti Stupa. This white-domed structure, perched atop a hill, is a popular tourist destination in Ladakh and is said to contain Buddha relics.

Khardung La Pass – One of the highest motorable passes in the world, the Khardung La Pass serves as a gateway to Ladakh’s Nubra and Shyok Valleys.

Magnetic Hill  –  Magnetic Hill is a picturesque and captivating route that runs next to the Sindhu river.When you park your car in the designated white box on the road, the vehicle will begin to ascend at a rate of twenty kilometers per hour on its own. The phenomenon piques travelers’ curiosity and is the subject of numerous mythology.

Turtuk – Located at the northernmost point of Nubra beside the Shyok River, Turtuk is the final settlement situated in the Baltistan region along the boundary between India and Pakistan. For the Indian Army, this region is crucial since it serves as the entrance to Siachen Glacier. One of the best spots to visit in Ladakh is its apricot-laden orchards, lush plains, pure river banks, and captivating history.



Day 1: Arrival at Leh Airport | Acclimatization Day, Stay: Leh

The group will assemble at the airport. From here, a designated vehicle will drop you at your hotel. We will check into our hotels. The rest of the day is at leisure and travelers are strictly advised to acclimatize for a safe journey ahead.  Keep yourself hydrated, indulge in minimal physical activities and acclimatize properly. In the evening, your trip captain will conduct a tour briefing session. Dinner and overnight stay in Leh.

Note: The pickup timings are 9 AM and 12 PM. Please note that the schedule for pickup is fixed and hence we advise you to manage your travel plans accordingly.

Day 2: Leh Local Sightseeing, Stay: Leh

Post breakfast, we’ll head out for our local sightseeing tour. We’ll visit the Sangam site in the Leh region where the Zanskar river meets the Indus river to form a beautiful confluence. We will also visit other tourist attractions such as Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic hill which is an anti-gravity hill as well as The Hall of Fame which is a war memorial maintained by the Indian Army. The last stop on our sightseeing tour is the iconic Shanti Stupa known for its beautiful white dome shape, statues, and intricate carvings. In the evening, travelers can indulge in Cafe Hopping, Local Shopping and buying unique souvenirs. We will return to our Hotel where dinner will be served in the evening followed by an overnight stay in Leh.

Highlights of the day: Sangam, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, The Hall of Fame, Shanti Stupa.

Day 3: Leh to Nubra Valley (130 Kms), Stay: Nubra Valley

Post breakfast, we’ll head out for Nubra Valley. En-route, we will be traversing through one of the Highest Motorable Roads in the World, Khardung La  (18,380 Ft) which offers magnificent views of towering mountains. Upon reaching Nubra Valley, travelers can indulge in a Double Hump Bactrian Camel Ride, ATV rides, and more. (on personal expense) After indulging in thrill filled activities, travelers will check-in into their campsites. Dinner will be served followed by an overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

Highlights of the day: Khardung La, Hunder, Nubra Valley.

Note : A hot-bucket of Water will be provided for freshening up in the morning at Nubra & Pangong Lake.

Day 4: Nubra to Turtuk (170 Kms), Stay: Nubra Valley

After breakfast, we’ll be heading out to Turtuk which is the last village of India on the Indo-Pak border renowned for its apricots. Upon our arrival in Turtuk, we’ll spend some time exploring the beautiful village. Sun bask by Shyok River, explore the nearby Balti Museum and relish in surreal views.  We’ll head back to Nubra by the evening where we’ll have dinner followed by an overnight stay.

Day 5: Nubra Valley to Pangong (180 Kms), Stay: Pangong Lake

Post-breakfast, we’ll check out from our campsite and head towards Pangong Lake. En-route, we will visit the Diskit Monastery, popular for the 100ft tall colorful statue of Buddha. After paying our reverence at the monastery, we will resume our journey towards Pangong, the iconic lake that has gained popularity ever since featuring in the Bollywood blockbuster movies like 3 Idiots and Jab tak hai Jaan. Upon reaching Pangong, we will check in to our cottages, explore the lakeside and capture stunning views. At night, you can enjoy a warm meal with your friends and capture stunning views of the night sky. (if weather permits)

Highlights of the day: Diskit Monastery, Pangong Lake, Stargazing

Note : Due to its altitude and location, Nubra and Pangong Lake do not have electricity at night. Travelers are recommended to be prepared for the same.

Day 6: Pangong to Leh (150 Kms), Stay: Leh

After spending a night under the starry skies and waking up to the beautiful view of the Pangong lake, we will have breakfast early in the morning. Traversing through Chang La Pass, which is one of the highest passes in the world, we will head back to Leh. En-route we will visit the Shey Palace which is popular for its 12 meter tall gold gilded statue of Buddha. We will also pay our respects at Thiksey Monastery, which is the largest Monastery in Central Ladakh. Upon reaching Leh, we will check into our designated hotel where we will have dinner and spend the night.

Highlights of the day: Chang La, Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery.

Day 7: Departure to Leh Airport | Tour Ends

Post breakfast, we’ll check out of our hotel. The group will disband and go their separate ways, to their respective cities according to their own scheduled departure. End of Tour.

Note: Book your return flight for this day after consulting with your designated travel consultant. Please note that the drop off time is fixed for 9 AM in the morning and hence we advise you to manage your travel plans accordingly.

You will get proper food suitable for terrain like Ladakh, Meghalaya, plain areas etc like Bread, Jam, Poori Sabzi, Eggs, lunch and dinner with dal, rice, salad, roti etc.

Networks are mostly available during the starting of the tour. You may find difficulties in finding network while on trek.
