At TripNaari, safety is not a feature—it is the foundation of every journey we curate for women travellers. From the moment you book until you return home, our team works to ensure that you travel with confidence, comfort, and support. Verified Woman Trip Leader on Every Departure Every TripNaari departure is accompanied by a verified woman trip leader who: Stays in the same property as the group. Travels in the same vehicle throughout the trip. Is trained in CPR and basic first aid. Carries a first-aid kit on all trips. Carries an oxygen cylinder on Himalayan departures where altitude support may be required. Maintains access to an emergency contingency fund for urgent situations. Verified Hotels, Drivers & Vehicles All hotels, homestays, drivers, vehicles, and trip leaders undergo a verification process before being assigned to any TripNaari departure. Hotel Safety Verification We work only with properties that are reviewed for: Secure door locks and room safety Safe neighbourhood and accessibility Positive reviews from solo women travellers Hygiene and emergency preparedness Women-only floors or wings wherever possible Driver & Vehicle Verification Drivers are police verified and undergo background checks. Minimum 5 years of hill-driving experience for mountain destinations. Vehicles are checked for registration, permits, insurance, and fitness compliance. No night driving is undertaken without prior group consent and safety assessment. Homestay Standards Where homestays are used, preference is given to women-run or family-run properties with trusted local references and community accountability. Emergency Preparedness Our trip leaders and drivers always carry a ready emergency contact kit, including: Nearest hospital details Nearest police station details Ambulance and emergency service numbers Local ground-support contacts TripNaari operations helpline This ensures immediate assistance without relying on last-minute online searches. Emergency Card for Every Traveller Each traveller receives a printed and WhatsApp emergency card containing: Trip leader phone number TripNaari operations helpline (24×7) Local police station contact Nearest hospital contact Founder escalation contact Communication & Live Support A dedicated WhatsApp group is created 48 hours before departure. Live location updates are shared on travel days whenever network permits. Trip leaders remain actively available from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Emergency support is available 24×7 through the TripNaari operations team. Feedback & Safety Escalation We believe every concern deserves prompt attention. Zero-Tolerance Policy TripNaari has zero tolerance for: Harassment or intimidation Non-consensual behaviour Discrimination or abuse Hidden costs Bait-and-switch accommodations Unsafe conduct by partners, drivers, staff, or travellers Immediate corrective action will be taken, including partner removal, traveller removal, refunds where appropriate, and formal escalation when required.
